Seviyan Recipe

Seviyan, i.e., Vermicelli Sweet Dish

Seviyan is a popular sweet dish that is prepared on all special occasions and festivals. It is also a popular dessert in some parts of India. It is very easy to cook Seviyan in very less time.

The ingredients needed to prepare Seviyan are:
• Vermicelli - 50 gms
• Raisins - 2 tsp
• Cardamoms - 2 powdered
• Almonds and Pistachios - 2 tsp
• Condensed milk - 1/2 tin
• Whole Milk - 1/2 ltr
• Butter - 1 tsp

Preheat a pan and add butter to it. The add the Vermicelli and fry it until it turns golden brown in color and set aside. Boil milk in a pan and then add condensed milk, vermicelli, and cardamom to it and mix well. Cook till vermicelli becomes soft.

Remove from heat and add raisins and nuts to it and serve hot or chilled.

If you do not have condensed milk you can add sugar according to your taste instead of condensed milk.
