Bread Halwa

Introduction:
Bread is a most famous and commonly eaten breakfast meal which is fondly eaten by nearly every Indian house. There are many dishes which can be made by using bread. These recipes are quite easy to make and never disappoint the taste buds. If you enjoy making quick desserts then you must try bread halwa. It is made with very simple ingredients and gives a very unique taste.

Ingredients:
  • Ten pieces of bread
  • Four cups milk
  • One cup sugar
  • One cup ghee
  • Dry nuts (almonds and cashew nuts and whatever and the much you like)
Preparation Process:
Cut each bread slice roughly into pieces. Heat the half quantity of ghee and cook the bread pieces until they change their color to golden brown. In other pan, boil the milk with sugar. When sugar dissolves completely, add cooked bread slices together with ghee. Grind the almonds and cashew nuts together and add in the milk. Cook until the mixture starts thicken. Garnish with the dry nuts and serve hot or cold as you like.
