Ingredients:
  • Four potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)
  • Salt as per taste
  • one teaspoon of red chili powder
  • Half teaspoon of cumin powder (jeera powder)
  • Half teaspoon of grounded coriander (kuta dhania)
  • One teaspoon of aamchoor (raw mango powder)
  • Green chilies
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • Eight bread slices
  • Quarter cup of milk
  • Oil for deep frying
  • One egg
  • Bread crumbs
Preparation Process:
Cut the brown corners of the slices and half each from the centre so that you will be having 16 pieces of bread. Mix all the spices and green chilies and coriander leaves in the potatoes well. Take milk in a wide bowl. Pick a piece of bread and dip it a little in the milk. Do not let it stay in the milk because it will make bread tenderer and it will become difficult to roll it. Now press the slice to get the extra milk drained. Put a decent amount of potatoes mixture over one side of slice and start rolling it by pressing it. In this manner, make roles of the remaining bread slices. Dip each in the beaten egg, roll in the bread crumbs and fry them in the oil till they turn golden brown.

Serve hot with ketchup.
