Chakli

Introduction:
Chakli is a sweet snack which can be preserved in jars for long time. These are the biscuit like snacks which are made with rice flour and are quite nutritious to eat. Making them can be tricky but it is just a matter of practice. Make them again and again and you find the accurate result.

Ingredients:
  • Five cups of rice flour
  • Salt as per taste
  • Milk for kneading
  • Two tablespoons oil
  • One teaspoon of sesame seeds
  • One teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Five tablespoons of urad daal
  • Three fourth cup of butter
Preparation Process:
Roast the urad daal and grind it with all the dry ingredients. Mix this mixture with rice flour and butter and knead it with milk to make fine dough. Make chakli with the help of biscuit mold and then fry them deep in the hot oil till they turn golden brown.
