Chivda is a variety of nimco which is available in two tastes i.e. sweet and sour. The special feature of this nimco is that it is made of paper thinness. This is so much crispy and flaky that everyone loves to eat it. Make chivda yourself at home and serve with tea.

  • Three cups of thin poha
  • Salt as per taste
  • One tablespoon of dalia
  • A handful of peanuts
  • Half teaspoon mustard seeds
  • Three curry leaves
  • One teaspoon of sugar
  • Two tablespoons of oil
  • Half teaspoon of chili powder
  • Half teaspoon of turmeric
  • One teaspoon of cumin seeds powder
  • One teaspoon of coriander powder
Preparation process:
Cook mustard seeds in the oil. When they start popping then add curry leaves. Add all other remaining ingredients and cook till they become crispy. Take out on the newspaper and then store in the air tight container.
