Figs are healthy sweet snack which lies in the category of dry nuts. Fig is known as anjeer in India. It is the best source of vitamins and minerals. Following is the recipe of making fig halwa which I am sure whole family will like.
- One cup water
- One cup of cubed figs
- Saffron (dipped in warm water)
- One tablespoon of ghee
- Half cup of condensed milk
Soak the figs in water. After two to three hours, grind them with water to make thick paste. Heat the ghee and fry the grinded paste with condensed milk and saffron. When the ghee appears on surface, garnish with almonds and serve
