Mint

Mint is used in nearly every recipe to give a fine aroma. There are many kinds of mint available in the market such as pepper mint, water mint, pineapple mint, orange mint and many others. It is very difficult to preserve the mint for a longer period of time. Mint gets rotten and turns black in the air. However, if you want to keep it fresh then keep it soaked in the water and cover the container with plastic and keep it in the fridge.

Now, it is the time to discuss the benefits of mint. Mint fights against the skin diseases especially the acne problem. It keeps the blood clean from filth. Mint works as a mouth freshener and keeps the skin saves from burns and bug cuts, irritations and allergies. It is beneficial to eat for correct respiratory systems, heart burn, bowel syndrome, cold and flu. Mint is used in many recipes as well. Boil it in the tea and a refreshing digestive tea will be ready. Top the yogurts, ice creams and shakes with mint leaves. It can be included in the cakes and all the gravies, rice and other meals can be topped with mint to have a splendid aroma.

Summer is the best time to use mint in the food. It will give soothing and cooling taste to the foods. Mint is the necessary ingredient of all cuisines. I think no dish is complete without the mint which is integral part of cooking.
