Coconut cream is a sweet tasting cream made with coconut. Though nowadays there are many brands available in the markets which are selling coconut cream in powder forms that are easy to make by just adding milk in them but still you can make it in your home from scratch by just following the simple recipe as mentioned below. You can use it in desserts, salads, smoothies and milkshakes and gravies.
- One grated coconut
- Coconut water which is taken from the whole coconut
- Half cup cream
Cook grated coconut, cream and coconut water together and then let it cool on room temperature. Spread the muslin cloth over bowl and pour the mixture over it. Grab all the corners of cloth in one hand and squeeze it from another. You will get coconut cream drained in the bowl. Keep it in the fridge and use it within five days.
