Dudhi is another which is given to bottle gourd or lauki. There are innumerous healing advantages of eating lauki that can never be replaced by any medicine. As it is very light because it contains a major portion of water in it, diabetic, heart and blood pressure patients can easily consume it without any fear. There are many ways in which you can add dudhi on your table. Down is the most unique and tasty recipe of making dudhi milk which will surely be loved by the whole family.

  • 1 normal sized Dudhi
  • Half kg milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar or as much you like
  • One tablespoon custard powder (any flavor)
  • Almonds (boiled and peeled and grated)
  • Quarter teaspoon cardamom powder (ilaichi powder)
Preparation Process:
Peel and grate the dudhi and boil it till it become transparent. Boil the milk and add sugar and dudhi and cook for a while. Mix custard powder with water and add it into milk. The milk must not have to be much thick that is why little custard powder will be enough. Add cardamom powder and almonds and serve it cool.
